49 year old Brenda L. Setlock, of Pottsville, was jailed Monday after she allegedly ran over a man with a car in Cass Township.
Township Patrolman Gerard Daley said the incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. at 35 White Lane where he was called for a report of a man down in the roadway.
That’s where police found Gregory Aungst lying in the yard of the residence. Aungst told police he was walking towards his home when a verbal argument ensued with Setlock, who then accelerated her vehicle, striking Aungst.
Setlock was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale, Frackville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $10,000 straight cash bail.
Daley said Aungst was taken to a Pottsville hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained in the incident.
