According to the Republican Herald, the couple came to Pottsville to assume leadership of the Salvation Army, following the departure of Capt. Tammy Hench, who had served in Pottsville for about 10 years.
The Politos said they are excited to be in Schuylkill County, where they arrived June 29 with their three children.
Both said they want to continue to reach out to the community by being there for them whether it is through financial assistance, food and outreach or spiritually.
