by News Department on 07/17/15A Girardville man was taken to Schuylkill County Prison after leading police on a foot chase and being found with drugs and warrants.
According to Shenandoah Police, Eric Pennington, was arrested for warrants following an incident that occurred on July 14. When police were about to take Pennington into custody he fled on foot, but after a brief foot chase, was taken into custody.
Police later located bag of methamphetamines in his shoe. Police were able to identify Pennington from his wallet he threw during the foot chase.
Pennington had 8 active domestic relation warrants.
Pennington was arraigned by District Magistrate Judge Kilker and taken to Schuylkill County Prison on $5000 straight cash bail.
