Residents in Northumberland County have reported that someone has been trying to steal their dogs.
In Kulpmont, neighbors say a culprit is entering people's yards and trying to take the dogs right from the owner's property.
One woman described a man wearing a black hoodie with his hood up in a motorized wheelchair as the person she saw enter her yard. Similar incidents have happened in Mount Carmel and police in both boroughs have been notified.
Anyone with information about any dog-napping or attempted pet abduction should call Kulpmont or Mount Carmel police, or 911.
