The body of a man who drowned on Friday evening, near Jim Thorpe, was recovered Saturday morning.
A swimmer was pulled from the water at the Glen Onoko Access Point to the Lehigh River, part of the Lehigh Gorge State Park, after recovery efforts on Friday had to be postponed due to darkness.
The man went missing Friday evening after going underwater, then never reemerging.
The victim is described by officials as a male in their 20's, his name is being withheld until the family is notified.
An autopsy is scheduled for this week.
Authorities say the drowning does not appear suspicious.
