State police at the Frackville barracks announced sobriety checkpoints to be held this month.
Police said the checkpoints will run July 12 thru the 28 on Schuylkill County roadways.
Troopers said in a press release that the checkpoints are held to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related fatal and serious crashes, and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on state roads.
