Flooding issues continue in Southern Schuylkill County as clean-up efforts begin in hard hit areas.
Tremont Mayor, Ricky Ney said the emergency shelter, at the Tremont Ambulance Association building, is open indefinitely.
The American Legion building in Tremont was hit so hard by the flood, it has been condemned.
Borough leaders say this clean-up will not be a quick fix. They're hoping to get help from state and federal funding. Governor Tom Wolf plans to be in Tremont and Pine Grove on Thursday to assess the damage.
