A little boy from Schuylkill County finally has the service dog his family has been dreaming about.
Seven-year-old Dariel Nunez has a rare genetic disorder that put him in hospice care when he was a baby.
Back in 2014 that his family was trying to raise $14,000 to get Dariel a service dog from 4 Paws For Ability.
After eight months of collecting money and three years on a waiting list, the family was notified that a dog was available.
The family traveled to Ohio, where they spent two weeks training with Kluck.
The four-legged friend helps Dariel walk, alerts his mom before he has a seizure, and tracks him down if he wanders away.
