Shannon Brennan, Campus Director for the Pottsville Campus of McCann School of Business & Technology presented a check for $260 to Judith Schweich, Executive Director for the Schuylkill Alliance for Healthcare, which is a non- profit organization that links uninsured Schuylkill County Residents to affordable healthcare services and medicines.
The check represents proceeds from a Spa Night Event hosted by the Spa at McCann in June.
McCann selects a different non-profit organization each year to be the recipient of funds from the annual spa event.
To date, the Schuylkill Alliance has provided over $10 million in healthcare services.
