Coaldale Police seized what may well be its largest cache of drugs on July 3 as they assisted state parole agents from the Allentown District Office.
The state agency contacted Coaldale Police on Monday after one of their parolees, 34 year old Jerry Breck, of Coaldale, was caught using a fake urinating device for a drug test. Breck then tested positive, violating his parole.
State agents discovered more than 350 grams of suspected methamphetamine and over 19 grams of suspected heroin in his home.
Breck was arraigned before District Magisterial Judge Stephen Bayer Wednesday morning and committed to the Schuylkill County prison in lieu of $100,000 straight cash bail.
