After being arraigned over the weekend, Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will speak out this week about the charges against her.
Kane's office says the Scranton native will hold a press conference on Wednesday at 1:00pm to discuss the allegations. It will be the first time we hear directly from Kane, who is accused of leaking secret information to a reporter and then lying to a grand jury to cover it up.
Kathleen Kane was arraigned Saturday afternoon on multiple charges that included perjury and criminal conspiracy. Kane has repeatedly said she has no intention of resigning.
Kane's preliminary hearing is set for August 24th.
