A fire at the Tamaqua Salvation Army has been ruled arson.
According to Skook News, State Police at Frackville said the Tamaqua Fire Department responded to the Salvation Army located at 105 Broad Street for a structure fire on May 12.
An investigation by State Police Fire Marshal Trooper Joseph Hall led to the finding that fire started at two points of origin in the rear storeroom which led to police ruling the fire as arson.
Hall also stated in his report that video surveillance shows nobody entered or left the building just prior to the fire.
