A fire that destroyed a large farmhouse in North Manheim Township on Tuesday has been ruled accidental.
According to the Republican Herald, State police fire marshal Trooper John F. Burns, of the Frackville station, said his investigation revealed the fire at 57 Glenworth Road, started inside the house, in a wall in the area of an outside hot tub, and spread from there.
No one was home when the fire started and no injuries were reported.
Burns said an estimate of damage is not yet available.
