Police are looking for a driver and vehicle that struck a member of Pottsville's Fire Police Friday Morning.
According to Skook News, Pottsville Police said the incident happened around 9:30am in the 200 block of Peacock St. when a 72 year old volunteer Fire Policeman was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The victim informed Police that a male operating a black Kia struck him with the front driver’s side of the vehicle before fleeing the scene eastbound on Peacock Street.
Anyone with surveillance camera footage of the general area at the time of the incident or any other information that can help identify the vehicle and/or driver is asked to call the Pottsville Police at 570-622-1234.
