State Police conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint, late Friday, along Route 61 in the borough of Frackville.
According to Skook News, State Police at Frackville said the checkpoint resulted in 60 vehicle stops, 1 DUI Arrest, 15 Summary traffic citations, 40 written warnings, and 1 drug possession arrest.
The goal of a sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related fatal and serious crashes, and to reduce the number of DUI driver's on Pennsylvania Highways.
