The scene left behind by the filming of a movie near Shenandoah resulted in a police investigation Sunday evening.
That’s when Frackville State Police and the West End Fire Department Dive Team, out of Mahanoy City, were called to Raven Run, West Mahanoy Township, near Shenandoah.
A State Police helicopter was also seen circling the area. State Police said the scene that was under investigation was not from criminal activity but rather the remnants of a horror movie scene that was left behind.
The movie is called Back Road and is written and directed by Drew Pizzo, of Barnesville, who was shooting a scene in the area earlier in the day with permission from the owners of the property.
