The Schuylkill Municipal Authority has issued a water boil advisory for some residents in Pottsville.

According to the advisory issued on Monday, August 21, customers located in the 600-800 blocks of West Market St from 6th St to 9th St on the south side (odd numbered addresses) of Market St only. 

A worker with the SCMA said the problem had been fixed, however the affected customers should boil their water for a minimum of 1 minute before drinking.
