A full autopsy on a West Penn Township man who died in a one-vehicle accident Friday night revealed the cause of death to be accidental.
According to the Republican Herald, Schuylkill County Coroner Dr. David J. Moylan III said 67 year old Charles Tidadock died from loss of blood. Moylan conducted the autopsy Sunday morning.
The accident occurred as Tidadock was driving a van north on Route 309 in over the Blue Mountain when his van hit a guide rail and fell about 50 feet down an embankment and into a tree.
Moylan said a deputy coroner pronounced Tidadock dead at 11:10 p.m.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
