Pottsville police arrested a Saint Clair man and charged him with hitting a Pottsville Fire Police officer who was directing traffic during a house fire in the city last week.
According to the Republican Herald, 22 year old Daniel Jefferson admitted to hitting the fire police officer, after a traffic stop, Thursday, in the city. Jefferson claimed that he did not know he had struck the victim.
The charges against him will be filed with Magisterial District Judge James K. Reiley, Pottsville.
