Governor Wolf has declared September fifth as 'Pennsylvania Blood Donation Day'...
In his proclamation - the governor highlights the fact that one blood donation can help up to three people... And the need for donors is constant...
In and around Schuylkill County; donations can be made in Pottsville, Sept. 1st from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Fairlane Village Mall Office; in Shenandoah, Sept. 5th from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Saint Stephens Church Hall, 14 E. Oak St.; and in Auburn, Sept. 6th from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., at the Auburn Ambulance Building, located at 131 S. Front St.
