Plans for a dog park in the city of Pottsville took a huge step forward with a $20,000 donation from CACL Federal Credit Union.
According to the Republican Herald, the donation secures the naming rights for the park, which will be called the CACL Financial Bark Park. It will be built at the Peacock Street Playground.
Officials said the goal of $25,000 for fencing, benches, security cameras and other needed improvements has been met.
The park is expected to open in June.
