Butler Township Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives surrounded a home along Trapper Springs Lane in Beech Mountain around 1pm, Thursday.
According to authorities, police instructed an individual to come out of the residence before the individual was taken into custody.
Along with the person in custody, a female and two children were inside the home.
No names have been released and no injuries were reported.
The suspect was believed to be taken into custody around 1:30pm.
