The Pottsville Police Department is investigating a death in the city as a homicide.
59 year old John Robert Brock, was found with obvious trauma in the street outside his home on South 12th Street just before 4am Thursday.
Pottsville Police Chief Richard F. Wojciechowsky said the homicide appears to have occurred inside Brock's home at 14 S. 12th St., despite the fact the man was found outside the residence.
Brock was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Pottsville police ask that anyone with information on the incident or information about Brock’s recent activities and/or associates to call them at 570-622-1234, either ext.340 or 331.
