The Great Pottsville Cruise is set to roll into the city for the 22nd time Saturday with a day full of events and hundreds of classic cars, hotrods and trucks.
The event kicks off with a cruise to Jerry’s Classic Cars and Collectibles Museum, located at 394 S. Centre St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with tours of the museum and car show registration.
The car show will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. in downtown Pottsville. Judging will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with awards to be presented at 8 p.m.
In addition to the cars, the show will feature food, vendor stands and live music. This year’s special guest for the cruise is Jessica Samko of the A&E television show “Shipping Wars.” Among other activities on Saturday, the cruise will be giving a Jeep Grand Cherokee to a Schuylkill County veteran in need of a vehicle.
Police will begin closing streets for the cruise about 2 p.m.
