The American Red Cross is working around the clock in the Mid-Atlantic ahead of the expected landfall of Hurricane Florence.
The extremely dangerous storm is on track to strike the coast of the Carolinas today.
Teams of Red Cross disaster workers will be leaving Eastern Pennsylvania, traveling to North & South Carolina and Virginia.
These disaster workers will be helping to stage relief supplies and equipment ahead of the storm and will staff evacuation shelters that will open as the storm approaches.
