Several schools near Mansfield, Ohio, were forced to close Monday because of security concerns over the manhunt for Shawn Christy.
Authorities believe Christy remains in the area after crashing a stolen truck on Interstate 71.
The search for Christy has surpassed the three month mark.
He has eluded US Marshals, allegedly making stops in Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Maryland and now Ohio where he fled the scene of the crashed truck and remains on the loose.
US Marshals add that Christy is considered armed and dangerous. Federal agents are offering a cash reward of up to $20,000 leading to his arrest.
Anyone who sees Christy should call 911.
