Authorities believe they may have found the remains of a New Jersey man believed to have been murdered and buried in Luzerne County.
Federal, state and local law enforcement converged on this property in Foster Township in early May searching for the remains of Jose Herran, who was living in the Hazleton Area at the time of his disappearance in 2015.
Authorities say bone fragments, believed to be human, were found on the property which is owned by 44-year-old Roberto Torner who, along with his wife was charged with drugs and weapons crimes in August of 2017.
He has never been charged in connection with Herran's disappearance.
That investigation is ongoing.
