Fire crews were called out to 899 Pole Road, East Union Township, near Brandonville, around 9:45pm, Monday evening, for a camper fire.
When crews arrived they found multiple campers on fire at the site, called for a tanker task force and quickly upgraded to a second alarm to bring more water to the scene.
In all, four luxury motor homes with an estimated total value of $1 million were destroyed by fire.
A fifth motor home was in close proximity but was able to be moved before it too caught fire.
No details on how the fire started or the owners of the vehicles are not yet available as the investigation continues.
