There is good news for motorists traveling through Palo Alto and Pottsville, as the two-and-a-half year bridge replacement projects near completion.
Gary A. Farabaugh, a transportation construction manager for PennDOT, said crews began “Stage 5” of the project on Sept. 16 and are scheduled to switch to Stage 6 the week of Sept. 26 when the two north and south bound lanes will be open.
The estimated bridge-replacement projects completion date is Nov. 14, 2016. The project began Jan. 16, 2014.
