Weiner could be housed in Sch Cty...

One of America’s most notorious sex offenders could be coming, involuntarily, to Schuylkill County.

According to the Republican Herald, 53 year old Anthony Weiner, a New York City Democrat and Former U.S. Rep., pleaded guilty in May to sending obscene material to a minor.

Senior U.S. District Judge Denise L. Cote imposed a 21-month prison term Monday, in U.S. District Court in New York City, and his lawyer mentioned Federal Correctional Institution/Schuylkill as a place he could serve his prison time.

However, where Weiner goes will not be made public until after the date he is scheduled to report to whatever prison will house him.

FCI/Schuylkill is a medium-security prison, with an adjacent minimum-security prison camp located just off Route 901 and Interstate 81 near Mount Pleasant, in Butler Township.
