Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) will be honoring veterans who served during the Vietnam era.
The commemorative event will be held in conjunction with the Department of Defense as part of a nationwide tribute to Vietnam era veterans commemorating the 50th anniversary of the war.
A special Vietnam veteran’s lapel pin has been produced as part of the program and will be distributed to attending veterans and widows of Vietnam era veterans.
In order to be recognized at the event and receive the commemorative pin, a recipient must be a United States military veteran who served on active duty at any time during the period of November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of stationing location.

The special ceremony will take place November 17 at 6:30pm in the Hamburg High School Auditorium, located at 701 Windsor Street.
