Hazleton Police have arrest one man on assault and other charges following an attempted stabbing in the city.
Police responded to a residence in the 800 block of N Locust Street for the report of a male being stabbed by his cousin.
Following the investigation, officers took Delvy Duran into custody for stabbing the victim, an adult male who was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
Duran was arraigned and bail was set at $100,000.
He was taken to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility to await a preliminary hearing.
