Fundraising sites have been set up for the victims of a fire that took the lives of an expectant mother and her two children over the Labor Day weekend.
The Berks County Communications Center began receiving multiple calls about 11:22 p.m. about a house fire at 440 S. Fourth St., in Hamburg, with entrapment.
Berks County Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner John Hollenbach identified the victims as 27 year old Jennifer Wilder, 5 year old Gabriel Kalinofski, and 2 year old Julian Gust.
An unidentified male was able to escape the building but suffered burns and taken to the burn unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
A GoFundMe account for funeral expenses has been set up by family members.
A state police fire marshal from Troop L headquarters, Reading, was investigating the cause of Saturday’s blaze.
It is believed to have started on the second floor of the home.
