West Mahanoy Township has announced that part of Altamount Boulevard near Frackville will be closed for work.
The road will be closed for several weeks from the intersection of Industrial Boulevard to the Frackville State Prison Entrance on the mall side for construction of new pipe lines, install of storm drains, and asphalt resurface.
A detour will be put in place for the duration of the project.
