40 year old Melinda A. Trezise, a former teacher, for the North Schuylkill School District, is headed to prison after admitting Wednesday in Schuylkill County Court that she had sexual contact with one of her male students.
Butler Township police charged Trezise with having the improper contact with the 13 year old victim, beginning in December 2014 and continuing until April, 2015.
Judge John E. Domalakes imposed lifetime Megan’s Law sanctions on Trezise and sentenced her to serve two to 23 months in prison.
Trezise resigned her teaching position in April 2015 and turned in her teaching license as part of her plea agreement.
