Fire damaged an egg processing and storage facility in Hubley Township on Wednesday morning.
According to the Republican Herald, firefighters were called to Michael Foods Inc. Egg Products Co., at Coleman and Quaker roads, about 9:05 a.m. and found heavy fire coming from the business.
Sacramento Fire Chief Ron Radle said it took crews several hours to bring the fire under control because of the construction of the building.
Fire officials said damage to the building was contained mainly to the roof and several walls of the structure.
No injuries were reported but a civilian who tried to extinguish the fire before volunteers arrived was evaluated for smoke inhalation.
There is no estimate yet of damage caused by the fire as the investigation into the cause continues.
