Memorial for Tamaqua teacher...
by News Department on 06/24/15There will be a memorial service honoring the life of the late Thelma Glatz-Urban, a Tamaqua Area High Language Arts teacher, today from 8 PM to 9 PM at the Tamaqua Area Sports Complex.
Urban, of Lake Wynonah, formerly of Coaldale, passed away suddenly on Monday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Family and friends have set up an online fund drive to benefit her two children titled, “Thelma Urban College Fund for Sean and Violet,” at www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/bb89/thelma-urban-college-fund-for-sean-and-violet.
