Three homeless after fire...

by News Department on 06/10/15

Three people have been left homeless after flames destroyed a mobile home in Walker Township on Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called about 7:45 p.m. to 977 Catawissa Road and found a house trailer completely engulfed in flames.

Chad Felty, assistant chief of the Walker Township fire company, said he believed three people lived in the home and that all managed to escape safely.

There was no word on what caused the fire that completely destroyed the mobile home as well as an SUV that was parked outside.

Authorities say no injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
