An investigation is underway after an explosive device was found in East Union Township, late Wednesday.
According to Skook News, East Union Township Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle report on Pole Road in Brandonville, which involved two adult and two juvenile males.
A plastic toolbox was discovered inside the vehicle that contained two fused devices. One appeared to resemble a pipe bomb and the other an unknown type of explosive device.
Police contacted the ATF and Pennsylvania State Police Bomb Squad which transported the devices to a secure location and a controlled implosion was conducted to destroy them.
East Union Police along with ATF and PSP will be conducting the joint investigation on this matter.
