One man is dead after he breathed in a fatal amount of carbon monoxide gasses.
49 year old Carlos A. Minaya Castillo, of Hazleton was found unresponsive in the bathroom of his home around 4AM Sunday morning.
Hazleton police responded to the residence on Alter Street to find Castillo's vehicle running in the family's garage with the door closed and noticed a strong smell of carbon monoxide in the residence.
Police removed Castillo's wife and 11 year old child from the residence.
Four Hazleton City police officers were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital and treated for carbon monoxide inhalation.
