A Minersville man wanted on attempted homicide and other charges stemming from an incident last month was taken into custody and jailed on Monday.
According to the Republican Herald, police charged 27 year old Louie Fernando Rivera with allegedly shooting another man on Feb. 25.
Rivera was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko, Port Carbon, who set bail at $250,000 straight cash and ordered him remanded to Schuylkill County Prison pending further court action.
