Six teenagers have been charged by Pottsville police with disorderly conduct for their involvement in a fight after a high school basketball game at Martz Hall last month.
According to the Republican Herald, Police Chief Richard F. Wojciechowsky said the charges stem from a Feb. 27 incident at the sports complex, 1541 Laurel Blvd., where officers were called around 9 p.m. for a report of a fight in the stands involving spectators at the Marian-Panther Valley high school boys’ playoff basketball game.
The six are high school students between the ages of 15 and 17, three from Marian High School in Hometown and three from Panther Valley High School in Lansford.
