State Police at Frackville are looking for two suspects that fled after a car chase Wednesday morning.
According to Skook News, police attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle near Mile marker 130 on the Southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township around 6:40am.
The driver of the Green 1998 Ford Explorer failed to stop and a pursuit ensued.
A second unidentified person was also seen in the vehicle. Authorities say the vehicle exited Interstate 81 at the Frackville exit, continued through the borough and was later found in a wooded area.
Police were not able to identify the suspects and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the Frackville barracks at (570) 874-5300.
