PennDOT has announced a project to replace the Route 924 Bridge near Gilberton.
According to Skook News, a contract has been awarded to HRI. Inc. of State College for the replacement of the existing 5 span, 4 lane structure of the current Route 924 Bridge at a cost of $11,615,655.
For the majority of the project, one lane will remain open in each direction during construction, but motorists should expect delays.
Work is scheduled begin this spring and the project is anticipated to be complete in May 2021.
