by News Department on 07/20/15Teachers and other staff in the Williams Valley School District will receive a pay raise under a 2015-16 budget that will keep taxes stable.
According to the Republican Herald, Real estate taxes will remain steady for Dauphin and Schuylkill County property owners after the school board approved approved a negotiated $1,500 raise for 2015-16 for teachers and for 12-month full-time employees.
Administrators that have been with the district for less than one year will also receive a pro-rated, negotiated $1,500 raise.
Classified employees can expect to receive a 40 cent raise for 2015-16, as approved by the board.
