With more than 4,000 people a year applying for concealed carry permits at the office of the Schuylkill County sheriff’s office alone, state Rep. Mike Tobash, R-125, is encouraging residents to attend an upcoming seminar to learn more regarding concealed carry, and their rights.
The “Concealed Carry Seminar: Protecting your family and your Second Amendment rights” will be held Aug. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Wiconisco Fire Engine Company No. 1, 387 Arch St., Wiconisco, Dauphin County.
The first part of the presentation focuses on just the law with respect to carrying a firearm. And the second part of the seminar focuses more on the use of deadly force.
Tobash said, due to limited seating, registration is required by calling 570-385-8235 before Monday, Aug. 1.
