The Schuylkill United Way is set to kick off their 2016 campaign by inviting the public to attend a free picnic on August 14th at Barefield Park from 4-7pm.
A rain date has been set for August 21.
Anyone wishing to volunteer during this event is asked to call 570.622.6421.
Volunteers are also needed for the Stuff the Bus Campaign to help stuff backpacks on August 3rd, at the Pottsville Salvation Army, located at 400 Sanderson Street, in Pottsville, beginning at 9am.
