No criminal charges will be filed, according to State investigators, in a case involving missing funds at the Kline Township Municipal Authority.
In a news release issued Wednesday, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s District Attorney’s office, the investigation has been officially closed.
The case, which originated in mid-2014, involves $309,718.50 in funds that were discovered missing during an audit.
It is believed that problems with a computer and computer software, dating back to 2008, is the reason the audit is showing more than $300,000 missing.
Investigators have concluded the claims of missing funds were unfounded.
