Four people were reportedly injured after a violent crash, involving two sport utility vehicles, along Route 443 in West Penn township, Wednesday.
The crash occurred as West Penn police were investigating a crash about a quarter-mile east of the Clamtown intersection.
According to police, an unidentified elderly driver did not notice the stopped vehicles in the east bound lane and slammed into the last in line. Four elderly patients were injured.
West Penn police are investigating the incident.
