Royalty was crowned Monday, during a coronation ceremony, which celebrated family, at the 33rd annual Schuylkill County Fair.
16 year old Jillian Mullin, of Pottsville, who was named the 2016 Schuylkill County Fair Queen, actually garnered two titles Monday, as she was also named Miss Congeniality.
In addition to Mullin, this year’s fair royalty includes 13 year old Rebecca Lascala, of Seltzer, who was selected as Schuylkill County Fair Princess; and 9 year old Kamryn Moran, of Pine Grove, who was chosen as Little Miss Schuylkill County Fair.
The fair runs thru Saturday and is held at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds, located at 2270 Fair Road, near Summit Station. General admission is $5 per person. Children 12 and under are free.
Today is Kid’s Day and the fair opens at 11 a.m.
